Andreja Kuluncic

Born in 1968. Lives in Zagreb. Studied sculpture, graduating in 1992 from the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design in Belgrade. From 1992 to 1994 studied at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest.
Participation on international exhibitions such as the “Day labor” exhibition in P.S.1 (New York, 2005), Tirana Biennial 3 (Tirana, Albania, 2005), Liverpool Biennial (UK, 2004), the 8th International Istanbul Biennial (Turkey, 2003), «The American Effect» (Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, 2003), Documenta 11 (Kassel, Germany, 2002), Manifesta 4 (Frankfurt/Main, 2002), and in numerous gallery and online exhibitions held in Croatia, Austria, Germany, India, Italy, Slovenia, South Korea, and other countries.

Participated in artists residencies at the Art in General in New York (2005), at Walker Art Center in Minneapolis (2003), at Artspace in Sydney, Australia (2002) and others.

Co-founder of non governmental organization Multidisciplinary Authors Projects and Actions (MAPA) for art, science and technology, founded in 2001 in Zagreb.
